Antiquarian Bookstores

Antiquarian bookstores deal in rare and out-of-print books. Most of them also provide book search services and book appraisals. Several antiquarian bookstores issue catalogues which can be obtained for the asking. Antiquarian bookstores are also excellent consultation resources for anyone building a collection around a particular author or subject area. The Midwest Book Review has assembled a list of antiquarian bookdealers with their names "hotlinked" to a preaddressed e-mail document for your convenience in communicating with them. The one exception is the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America whose name we have hotlinked to their Web site and which will prove of great interest to anyone in the field of antiquarian, rare, and out-of-print books.

Changing technologies have made it possible to buy .MP3 audiobooks and download them for your listening pleasure! Of course one can just as easily buy most audiobooks on audio cassette or CD. Here are some fine online bookstores specializing in audible books.
